I may need someone to foster 3 large dogs because their owners have been seriously injured in a car accident. They have been in a kennel at $32 a day for over six weeks now. I am willing to provide food and pay for any vetting. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could get some help? Doing all I can to ensure these people do not lose their animals.

they do not make you jump through hoops to foster. they just do what is needed to make sure the animal is safe. no-kill louisville has only been existence for 5 months.

Like Amy said, those "hoops" are there to protect the animal. They have to know what kind of person is fostering the animal to make sure it will get the necessary training and socialization to make it adoptable, as well as to ensure it will be healthy and happy.

I need temporary help with my dog Sir. He just turned 3 this month and he weighs 125lbs. he is a red nosed brendall pit bull. I am moving to Louisville and don't have a place yet, so I really need someone to provide a warm and loving environment for him until I get us a place. I will provide everything for him and would love to be able to come see him every day. We have never been apart and I am in a very difficult position right now. If anyone can help us please contact me. Thank you, Cendy
